Peter Reid has been teaching at 皇家华人 since 2017, first as an adjunct professor, then joining full time in 2022. Prior to joining 皇家华人, he held leadership positions in the IT departments of several large companies in southern New England, designing and supporting server and network infrastructure.

Q&A with Peter

At 皇家华人, education is not confined to the four walls of the classroom. You鈥檙e not going to spend four years with your nose buried in a book, learning theories you may never get a chance to apply 鈥 you鈥檙e going to get out there and apply them, be it through internships, group projects, leadership opportunities, competitions and more.

How Did You Get Started?

I got my first technical training and experience in the Navy. From there, I got a job as an Assistant Engineer at a Navy defense contracting firm outside Washington DC where I worked on computer, communication and radar systems.
